Xing Long Grill Ltd o/a Bourbon StGrill is looking for full-time Cooks who can join our busy team!

 

Position: Cook

Vacancies: 2

Terms of employment: Full time Position (30-40 hours per week)

Wage: $16.50 to 18.00 per hour for 30-40 hours

Location: FC # 15, 201 1 Ave Saskatoon, SK S7K 1J9

Expected Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, which include sauces, soups, salads, vegetables, meats

·       Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance

·       Keep kitchen and food handling area clean with proper regulation and procedure

·       Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment

·       Maintain inventory and records of food ingredients, supplies and equipment

·       Check the quantity and quality of received products

·       Place purchase orders and/or requisitions for procuring necessary, food ingredients, supplies, etc. required for menu preparation

·       Estimate expected food consumption and requirement

·       Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas

·       Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications

·       High school diploma

·       1-2 years of experience in commercial cooking

·       Team player, Client focus and Flexibility

·       Detail-oriented, Organized and Reliability

 

Work conditions and physical capabilities

·       Repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Fast-paced environment; Handling heavy workloads

 

Flexible work hours
