When: August 6–7, 2025
Where: Asham’s Beach, Pasqua First Nation, Saskatchewan
This August, the powerful heartbeat of culture, community, and tradition will rise once again at the Pasqua First Nation Pow Wow—a cherished annual gathering set along the shores of Asham’s Beach on the Pasqua Reserve in Saskatchewan, just a short drive from Regina. Taking place on August 6 and 7, 2025, this vibrant event welcomes dancers, drummers, elders, artists, and visitors from across Canada and beyond. Hosted by the Pasqua First Nation, a proud Saulteaux-Cree tribal nation and signatory of Treaty 4, the Pow Wow offers an opportunity to celebrate Indigenous identity, honor ancestral history, and strengthen the spiritual and cultural bonds among First Nations.
Set at the centre of community life, the Pow Wow is more than a gathering—it is a living expression of traditions carried forward by generations. Guests are invited to search for deeper understanding through shared songs, ceremony, and stories passed down by knowledge keepers. With support from the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council and other First Nations organizations, the event also connects participants to meaningful cultural resources and supports initiatives that uplift Indian nations across the province.
Visitors are encouraged to view official event updates, privacy guidelines, and participation policy through the Pasqua First Nation’s website or by reaching out directly for more information. The celebration also connects attendees with cultural and educational resources, helping guests learn more about Indigenous identity, protocols, and storytelling traditions.
