Position: Window and Door Service Technician (NOC 73200)
Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Flexible Hours, To be determined,
Wage: $27.00 – $29.00 per hour
Benefits: 2 weeks’ vacation, employee ownership program

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Install, assemble, and adjust windows, doors, glazing, hardware, seals, and installation-related issues.
· Perform on-site repairs, replacements, and maintenance of windows, doors, and hardware components.
· Conduct onsite water tests using AAMA 501.2, AAMA/CSA 502, and project-specific testing protocols
· Set up and safely operate spray racks, pressure equipment, and containment systems.
· Identify causes of water penetration related to installation, envelope design, product failure, or site conditions.
· Inspect installations for quality control, ensuring proper fit, sealing, and operation.
· Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
· Use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
· Provide technical support to clients by answering questions and resolving issues related to window and door products.
· Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
· Maintain service logs, reports, and records for installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures while on-site.
· Travel to customer sites within the assigned territory as required.
· Participate in training and product knowledge sessions to stay updated on new products and installation techniques.
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
Diploma degree
2-3 years of experience in window/door service, glazing, carpentry, or construction trade
· Knowledge of BC Building Code, building envelope principles, and water-management requirements.
· Familiarity with AAMA/CSA water testing procedures.
· Ability to read installation details, shop drawings, and specification sheets.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Physical capability of performing duties; Handling heavy loads
· Client focus, Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
· Willing to travel
