Centra Windows is looking for a passionate skilled Senior Service Technician to join our team in Calgary, AB.

Position:  Senior Window and Door Service Technician (NOC 73200)

Employment Terms and Conditions: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours per week), Day, Flexible Hours, To be determined,

Wage: $37.00 – $39.00 per hour

Benefits: 2 weeks’s vacation, employee ownership program
Work Location: 4705 102 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2C 2X7

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

·       Lead the installation, assembly, and adjustment of windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and project plans.

·       Perform complex on-site repairs, replacements, and maintenance of windows, doors, and associated hardware.

·       Inspect installations for quality control, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and operational efficiency.

·       Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements and advise on project feasibility.

·       Provide expert technical guidance to clients and resolve complex product or installation issues.

·       Mentor and supervise junior technicians, providing on-site training and guidance to ensure consistent quality and safety.

·       Collaborate with sales, production, and project management teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

·       Maintain detailed service logs, reports, and records for installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

·       Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures while on-site.

·       Travel to client sites across the assigned territory as required.

·       Participate in ongoing professional development, product knowledge sessions, and training to stay current with industry standards and installation techniques.

 

 

 

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

Diploma degree
3-5 years of experience in installer, repairing or carpentry field; previous supervisor or managerial experience is required[TN1]
·       Experience in window/door service, glazing, carpentry, or construction trade.

·       Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

·       Physical capability of performing duties; Handling heavy loads

·       Client focus, Team player, Reliability, Flexibility, Effective interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
·       Willing to travel
