Child Caregiver

Overview

I am looking for a compassionate, patient child caregiver to take care of my kids!

 

Position: Child Caregiver (NOC 44100)

Terms of Employment: Full-time (30-35 hours per week)

Hourly Wage: $20 – $22

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Northwest, Calgary, AB, Canada T2N 3X2

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Provide attentive and responsible care for children.

·       Treat each child with kindness and compassion.

·       Maintain a clean, hygienic, and secure environment.

·       Prepare nutritious meals for the children and encourage them to explore new foods.

·       Communicate with parents as needed to address concerns or provide updates.

·       Transport children to and from school safely.

·       Assist with light cleaning and sanitizing tasks as required.

·       Engage children in enriching, educational activities such as games and outings.

·       Offer opportunities for children to learn and develop skills appropriate for their age.

·       Support the emotional well-being of the children.

·       Follow caregiving practices in accordance with the parents’ preferences

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

·       High school diploma; college diploma is preferred, but not a must.

·       1-2 years of experience in a similar role

·       No Criminal and medical issues

·       Exceptional patience and ability to remain calm at all times

·       Fun and enthusiastic attitude

·       Physically able to perform tasks, including sitting on the floor, bending, and standing
