Responsibilities
Tasks
- Supervise workers, subcontractors and projects, Co-ordinate and schedule activities
- Set up machines and equipment
- Estimate costs and materials
- Recommend personnel actions
- Read blueprints and drawings
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- Leading/instructing individuals. Supervision: Staff in various areas of responsibility, Drywall installers and finishers
- Install building components such as drywall and fixtures according to project specifications and blueprints
- Perform construction painting, caulking, and finishing tasks to ensure a polished appearance
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
- Use carpentry tools and techniques to modify or prepare materials for installation
- Conduct minor repairs or adjustments as needed during the installation process
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
